BRENDA KAY EPPERSON
Stabbed to death on May 17, 1992.

Brenda was killed just before 4:00 a.m. inside her third-story apartment, at the Peppermill Apartments, in Universal City, a suburb of San Antonio, Texas. At the time of her death, she was a 24-year-old insurance adjuster.

Unsolved Crimes is seeking any information which may shed new light on this tragic murder. We are especially interested in hearing from anyone who may have seen any of the following:
- A car parked along the northbound lane of Universal City Blvd., south of Kitty Hawk Rd., between 2:30 a.m. and 4:45 a.m. on May 17, 1992.
- A person walking or jogging northbound on Universal City Blvd. from Kitty Hawk Rd. to Peppermill Apartments, between 2:30 a.m. and 3:15 a.m. on May 17, 1992.

The killer jumped off this 3rd floor balcony.
- A person walking southbound from Peppermill Apartments swimming pool to Pat Booker Rd. between 3:45 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on May 17, 1992.
- A suspicious person around the Universal Square area between 2:45 and 4:30 a.m. on May 17, 1992.

Reports say the killer looked back
- A suspicious person in the vicinity of the buildings from Midas Muffler Shop to Universal City Blvd. between 3:45 and 4:30 a.m. on May 17, 1992.
- A person walking eastbound on Pat Booker Rd. around the Universal Square area between 3:45 and 4:30 a.m. on May 17, 1992.
- A person walking southbound on Universal City Blvd. from Pat Booker Rd. to Kitty Hawk Rd. between 3:45 and 4:30 a.m. on May 17, 1992.

The killer exited balcony door and jumped off (left) and could have been waiting in the closet on right (There was no forced entry to apartment)

The killer walked back to car along this suspected route on Universal City Blvd.
